Pitbulls Revealed is a comprehensive guide to Pitbull ownership. It was developed by Tim Amherst, an avid Pitbull lover. According to the guide, Tim learned everything he knows about Pitbulls over years of experiences with the breed. He didn’t set out to be a Pitbull expert, but he enjoyed the breed and helped acquaintances with Pitbull advice. So, eventually, he became known as the Pitbull Guru.

Pitbull Myths:

One of the best things about Tim Amherst’s guide, Pitbulls Revealed, is that it dispels many Pitbull myths. For example, it discusses how the media has warped the public opinion of Pitbulls as a breed in general. It also talks about how a few bad breeders and bad owners have perpetuated the myth that Pitbulls are all mean, evil or somehow unstable.

.

Choosing a Pup:

Another important part of the guide is how to choose a Pitbull pup. Tim walks the first-time Pitbull owner through various steps, including what physical and emotional traits to look for in a puppy. He talks about how to avoid many of the mistakes that are commonly made when choosing one. Not only that, but he talks thoroughly about the importance of finding a reliable Pitbull breeder and how to figure out which breeders are the best of the best.

After the Puppy Arrives:

In Pitbulls Revealed, Tim Amherst also discusses what to do after puppy selection. He tells us about how to puppy-proof our homes. He also talks about choosing the most nutritional diet for a Pitbull puppy. Tim even discusses how to choose the right bed for a Pitbull puppy.

Chewing and Destruction:

One of the big problems that people think Pitbulls have is that they’re destructive. They don’t have to be at all, though. Pitbulls Revealed reveals many training tips and tricks to keep Pitbulls from becoming terrors around the house. The program shows how to keep them from chewing on furniture, children’s toys, curtains and other property and how to focus their attention on better things, instead.

Understanding, Awareness and Trust:

Then there’s the understanding and awareness portion of Tim’s program. Unfortunately, a lot of people forget that dogs have feelings and unique personalities. Tim, however, doesn’t forget. In Pitbulls Revealed, he talks extensively about how to understand your Pitbull. Once you understand your Pitbull and why they do certain things, Tim claims that you can teach them almost anything. That means a closer relationship for both pet and owner and a much better behaved pet.

Health and Wellness:

Another important aspect of Pitbull ownership that Tim Amherst covers in Pitbulls revealed is health and wellness. He talks about the five most common Pitbull ailments. He also discusses how to choose the best vet for your Pitbull and, most importantly, why to choose a certain vet. Choosing the wrong vet or being unaware of a health problem that your Pit has can be devastating, after all.

Many programs tell you what to do, but not why to do it. Tim Amherst’s program covers all the bases. So, it teaches the ins and outs of Pitbull ownership. If they read Pitbulls Revealed, Pitbull owners don’t need to be known for owning the neighborhood monster. Pitbulls can actually be the best behaved pups on the block.

Chad’s book talks extensively about how to choose the right Pitbull for you. He discusses major health concerns to look out for. He talks about the pros and cons of puppies versus older Pitbulls.

He even discusses whether or not Pitbulls should have cropped ears and tails. Those are vital, if owners want to select happy, healthy Pitbulls as pets.

..

..

Training and Fun:

Another thing that Chad’s program focuses on is the importance of combining training with fun. He talks about toys and tricks that are great for Pitbulls and can teach them to respond quickly to their owners. That can make later training a lot easier.

Recall and Destruction:

Pitbulls have a bad reputation for being strong-willed and stubborn. They also have a reputation for destroying houses and yards and running loose throughout neighborhoods. In his guide, Chad explains that the vast majority of that is due to owner ignorance, not problems with the Pitbull itself.

Chad talks about how, using fun training techniques, such as toys and positive reinforcement, any Pitbull can be trained. Once they’re taught to listen to basic obedience commands, like coming when called, owners have a lot more control. In that way, Chad’s book teaches all Pitbull owners to dominate and control their Pitbulls in a loving way, rather than with negativity and punishment. That eliminates yard and house destruction, as well as limiting the chances of a Pitbull running away or getting out of control off the leash.

Common Traps:

Chad also discusses a lot of common Pitbull traps in his book. For example, he talks about why it’s dangerous to feed cooked bones to a Pitbull. He also discusses the ins and outs of what collars are appropriate and what collars can do permanent damage to a Pitbull. All of which is very valuable information for any owner.

One of the great things about Chad’s guide is that it’s so convenient. It can be downloaded in a matter of minutes. So, any Pitbull owner can immediately benefit from Chad’s advice. It really cuts back the costs and time that would otherwise have been involved in cleaning up after or training a Pitbull. After all, it’s much cheaper than paying hundreds of dollars for lessons that may not work and the techniques in the book can prevent property damage and, therefore, save a lot of money.

Understanding Dogs:

Dogs were originally feral animals, like wolves. Although they’ve been domesticated for many years, they still have a lot of their wild instincts and reactions to certain situations. In the Pitbull Guide, Chad Zetrouer discusses many of those instincts that Pitbulls have. By understanding why they act the way they do, Chad’s guide makes it much easier for all Pitbull owners to understand and control their dogs. So, it’s a great book for any Pitbull owner, whether they’ve owned Pits before or not.

Here are some of the key points you will discover inside the pitbull training guide:

Important information that all Pitbull owners must know to help ensure their Pitbull is never aggressive toward people or animals.

What you should look for in foods to ensure your Pitbull gets proper nutrition and stays healthy.
